Do you remember the Italian designer Antonio Aricò?
Here’s another piece of poetry applied to the design, as always, simple, natural, smart and funny.
Taste of Wood is a funny eulogy to olive
oil, to olive wood, to wooden furniture and
has for background the artisanal
techniques used to finish and preserve it.
As we all know, Olive oil can be used as well to
polish of the olive wood.
When you are sitting under an olive tree you
can dream about tasting some really good
Calabrese olive oil but not only! You can
also start thinking about your furniture and
start polishing them with passion.
A little tea spoon, a soft sponge,
an oil dispenser… a tender family
of products dedicated to serve olive oil,
to you, your table or your chair.
The collection Taste of Wood plays on
the theme “eatable materials” but without
loosing the essential ideas of utility
and quality in all the products.

The iconice brand Polaroid is back with the Z2300 Instant Digital Camera, a 10 megapixel printer cam that produces 2 x 3-inch prints that are also stickers in about 30-45 seconds.
It’s not quite as quick as the Polaroids of old, but at least you don’t have to shake em.
The Z2300 comes in white and black, both with a thin rainbow decal across the front and large red shutter button that plays on its retro roots.
The paper pops out from a slot on the right hand side, while the left is home to the mini-USB port, power jack and a switch for landscape and macro mode. The controls around back, next to the LCD viewfinder, are pretty standard.
Santorini is an illumination system formed by a cylindric glass structure and four interchangeable wood pieces, that allow the user to direct and control the light to their desire, creating numerous forms and light combinations.
Materials: glass, natural wood and lacquered wood.

SPUTNIK is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Valencia, composed by Majo Fernández, María de la O Reyna, María Salar and Borja Sepulcre. It is born with a restlessness to create innovative and functional projects, providing to each design a different vision on everyday objects, presenting forms that are bold and with character. In their projects there is an interaction with the user and a promotion towards the use of recycled materials.
The different trajectories of the four members allow them to perfect step by step each idea to finally converge in a simple yet beautiful design; with an innovative and positive character.

Hosewear make bags out of decommissioned fire hoses. Each bag has a unique look and a life-saving story to tell. Some have markings from firefighters on them, some have hoses serial numbers and some are more worn out than others but they all look awesome with their rough past of active duty.

Messenger bag is made of two different kind of up-cycled fire hoses – gray and red, whereas the red one is thicker than the gray one. The inside of the gray fire hose has been used to get the black color on the messenger bag.
The iPad sleeve. It’s available in red, white and yellow. The red firehose has had a particularly interesting life, so the sleeves look a bit rougher, while the white and yellow ones look more respectable, for lack of a better word. What’s for sure is that no-one else has an iPad sleeve that looks exactly the same, and never will.
Phone sleeve. The red fire hose is a bit thicker and the gray one has a canvas look on it, but they both keep your phone safe from rain and softens the landing, in case you drop it.
Laptop bag. Light gray, dark gray and red. Some might have serial numbers, some might have notes and marks from the days of duty on them – and each one has a story.
We make the laptop bag in 3 sizes: for 14″, 15″ and 17″. The 14″ one also perfectly accommodates 13″ computers like a Macbook Pro.

Called Fionda, which means “sling” in Italian, the chair by Jasper Morrison is composed of a folding wooden frame and a loose canvas seat that hooks over the corners and can be removed to enable the chairs to be stacked horizontally.

The brief called for a small studio space for two architects, a landscape architect and a meeting area– but the client could not be more subjective
in taste. in designing their own workspace, architects brad wray and nicolas russo drew both material and spatial organization from the
surrounding terrain. sited near an orchard, the form of the building was oriented to maximize views out to the landscape while still creating a
sense of productive refuge.

Invited by Cinna / Ligne Roset to develop an idea for a garden lamp, Florian Brillet has created a portable light to hang from the branch of a tree. Made of metal and wood with a waterproof lantern, it is an invitation to a life outdoors, to summer evenings in the garden. Also available with a sconce, “under my tree” may be suspended or placed on the ground.
Amazing and perfect for a loft or a big openspace!
‘il treno’ is a dining ‘compartment’ which offers a private table for two–including ample storage for your fine china, if desired–fashioned off the old steam train carriages of the orient express. available in ash or oak wood, combined with steel structural support elements, the modular furniture piece is meant to instill notions of intimacy and romanticism–offering an experience reminiscent of enjoying a nice dinner on a train as one is being taken to a new location, the surrounding landscape passing by. designed by tjep.

3 years ago, Sunny built his first bamboo bicycle and completed a solo cycling expedition around Central Asia and Asia, covering 3,792 miles (6,103km).
Riding on tough terrains during the expedition taught him a lot about riding comfort, bamboo as a raw material and bicycle design principles. I was also pleasantly surprised at how a natural material like bamboo can break language barriers to create conversations and bring people together.
It has been 3 years constant trial and error, research and tests. And I can say that you will be delighted with our new range of technology-infused natural handcrafted bicycles.
You have to ride it to believe it.
Bamboobee has come out with an in-house technology, Honey Infusion that prevents bamboo from cracking, solving world’s most common problem for bamboocraft. The aesthetic value will last and therefore consumers can appreciate bamboo products for generations.
Taking an old idea with a twist, it is the world’s first nature and technology-based handcrafted bicycle that brings you simplicity and happiness.
